Semen Cardona works to open a new center in Guadalajara
Semen Cardona is working with the City Council of Espinosa de Henares to create an artificial insemination center (CIA) in this town in the province of Guadalajara.
The aim and will of the parties are to make the project possible in 2023 once they complete bureaucratic and administrative procedures.
The location of Espinosa de Henares is strategic for Semen Cardona, both from a logistical and biosafety point of view. It is close to transportation routes that facilitate distribution, and the area has a low level of pig farming activity, ideal for a CIA, which will help maintain this low level.
The project would involve an investment of 4 million euros, and it will create 12 direct jobs in a center, which will have a laboratory with the latest innovations in the sector.
