Colombian and Mexican profesionals visit Semen Cardona headquarters to strengthen ties and share experiences
This week, we welcomed a distinguished delegation of swine producers from Colombia and Mexico, countries where Semen Cardona has international offices. This meeting was organized in collaboration with Hipra, a global leader in animal health. The visit was guided by Isaac Ballarà, Global Swine Technical Manager at Hipra, who led the group on a tour of our facilities in Cardona.
The delegation was composed of representatives from prominent companies in the swine sector: Jesús Gómez (Mirasol), Luis Hernando Calderón (Agrop. Goloso), Enrique Alejandro Lozano (Cervalle), Alez Herney Pabón (Inversiones Soga), Jaime Alejandro Calle (Hipra Colombia), Gerardo Barba (Hipra Mexico), and José David Gaviria (Emmanuel).
During their stay, they learned in detail about the advanced processes of porcine semen dose production and the rigorous biosecurity protocols we implement to ensure the highest quality in every dose. Our technical team also presented the latest innovations in swine genetics and reproductive management, focusing on solutions designed to increase efficiency and profitability.
These meetings, like the recent visit from a delegation of Japanese swine industry professionals, reinforce Semen Cardona’s commitment to international expansion and knowledge exchange with key players in our industry worldwide.
Collaborations with companies from Colombia and Mexico, where we have delegations, are essential to improving production practices in both countries and consolidating the growth of the swine industry in the region.
We thank the producers and Hipra professionals who participated in this visit and continue working to strengthen ties and share our best practices with international partners.
