The growth of Duroc in the market, will it end?

In Semen Cardona we have always had Duroc from different suppliers as one more line within our range of boars, but its presence in the Spanish terminal stallion market, traditionally, has been a minority or even residual. The main reason why this breed did not grow in our company was because our customers did not receive this demand from the slaughterhouses.
To this day, it is still a breed with a lower percentage presence compared to the Pietrain or the hybrids, but in recent years it is having a growth well above the other races or lines and it seems that the trend persists. The stats of Semen Cardona are clear: from the 68,000 doses of Duroc in 2014, we had exceeded 350,000 in 2017.
All this makes us wonder if it will continue growing at this rate, it will stop or slow down its increase. As always, the final customer and the export activity will decide it.
