Semen Cardona plans its strategy in the Philippines with partners and clients

The local partner of Semen Cardona in the Philippines, Plaridel, along with some of the main Asian clients of the local artificial insemination center (AIC), participate these days in the medium-term strategy planning in the region. For a few days, the President of Semen Cardona, Maria Àngels Rial, the General Manager Jordi Coletas, the CEO of Semen Cardona Filipinas Jun Punzalan and a selected group of large clients will work together to define production, distribution and biosecurity protocols for the next five years.

Semen Cardona sells doses of swine semen for more than a decade in the Philippines, and since one year ago it has been producing from its own AIC in the municipality of Umingan (Pangasinan), in an extremely isolated area without ​​livestock farms and under very strict biosecurity measures. The five-year strategic planning seen is part of the Semen Cardona growth plan that focuses a part of its attention on Asia, one of the most promising markets in terms of porcine production developing.
