Semen Cardona takes part in OPORMEX 2026, the leading meeting point for the Mexican swine industry

Semen Cardona once again took part in OPORMEX 2026, one of the most important congresses for the swine industry in Mexico and a key meeting point to discuss the future of the sector.

Representing the company were Semen Cardona’s president, Maria Àngels Rial, and the director of Semen Cardona Mexico, Elizabeth Contreras. During the event, they had the opportunity to meet and engage with clients, suppliers, and industry partners in a close and welcoming environment.

Held at the Vidanta Hotel in Nuevo Nayarit, the event brought together producers, specialists, companies, and representatives from across the swine production value chain. Over several days, OPORMEX 2026 once again became a space for sharing experiences, building partnerships, and discussing the challenges that will shape the future of the pork industry in the coming years.

This year’s edition focused on innovation, sustainability, animal health, and industry competitiveness. Germany also participated as the guest country, contributing new perspectives on agricultural technology, production efficiency, and animal welfare.

At Semen Cardona, we would like to congratulate the organizers for the success of OPORMEX 2026 and wish the new committee every success in this new stage for the Mexican swine industry.
