Semen Cardona participates in Bachoco’s Pork Summit

Semen Cardona participated in Bachoco’s Pork Summit, an event held from 3 to 6 June 2026 in San Carlos, Sonora (Mexico), aimed at Bachoco’s internal team, especially farm staff, supervisors, managers and other professionals involved in swine operations.

The meeting aimed to strengthen the technical training of the team, encourage knowledge exchange and promote teamwork within the organisation. In this context, Bachoco welcomed the participation of several strategic partners from the sector, including Semen Cardona, whose presence reaffirms a shared commitment to promoting the development of the swine industry in Mexico.

Representing Semen Cardona were Elizabeth Contreras, Director of Semen Cardona Mexico; María del Carmen Vázquez, Northern Zone Manager; and Jhon Fredy Ardila, Director of Semen Cardona Colombia.

During the event, Jhon Fredy Ardila delivered the presentation “Management of semen doses from production to insemination”, focused on the process of manufacturing, preserving and transporting semen doses, as well as the critical points that must be controlled to ensure their highest quality until the moment of insemination.

His presentation highlighted the importance of rigorous management at every stage of the process, from dose production to on-farm application. This approach is key to ensuring optimal reproductive results and contributing to the productivity of swine farms.
