Semen Cardona gives a lecture at the technical seminar on biosecurity in AICs organized by ANPS

At Semen Cardona, we took part in the technical seminar “Care from the Start: Biosecurity and Rigour in AICs,” organized by the National Association of Select Pig Breeders (ANPS) and held at the Official College of Veterinarians of Madrid. The event brought together professionals and organizations from the sector to address key aspects in the operation and health control of Artificial Insemination Centres (AICs).

Isidro Sánchez, manager of our centre in Tarazona, participated as a speaker with the lecture “Factors Influencing Boar Losses (Culling, Euthanasia and Death).” His contribution was part of the technical block of the programme, focused on boar management and efficiency improvement in AICs.

He also took part in the roundtable on biosecurity, sharing the space with representatives from other entities in the sector. This discussion allowed the exchange of experiences and perspectives on health prevention protocols in the centres.
