Semen Cardona attended the CIPORC trade fair in Peru as part of its efforts to explore new markets.

Maria Àngels Rial, President of Semen Cardona, and Carles Torrentó, International Development Director, travelled to the country to gain first-hand knowledge of the Peruvian pig sector and assess the characteristics and potential of this market.

The trade fair provided the company with an opportunity to engage directly with the realities of the pig sector in Peru and gain a clearer understanding of its activity. This first-hand market knowledge is a fundamental part of the prospecting process, as it enables the company to assess each market according to its specific context and characteristics.

The visit forms part of Semen Cardona’s international strategy, which is focused on exploring new markets and identifying potential development opportunities for the company, which already has offices.
